As a West Coast native, I love being surrounded by mountains. Even though I am a self-proclaimed “city girl,” there’s something special about being 11,000 feet above sea level surrounded by mountains as far as you can see. I recently visited the Rocky Mountain National Park for the first time. The trip reminded me how important it is to take a break from city life to enjoy and appreciate nature.
